- Sponsor a House Program
Individuals or church groups such as Church School Classes can pledge to provide funds for utilities for one house for a year ($135 per month). This can be a monthly or quarterly pledge of a one-time gift.
- Donation of Time and Expertise
We need the expertise of people who will donate professional services for renovations (plumbers, electricians, carpenters, contractors, painters, landscapers, etc.), as well as accounting and legal services, fund raising, grant writing, sign painting and help in scouting out available properties for sale.
- Donations of Money, Stock, Real Estate or Other Valuables
Donate funds to allow us to purchase lots and build houses at less cost, thereby reducing rents.
- Keep the Heat On heating Assistance Program
Volunteers are needed to spend the night on the street in Lexington to raise money for the annual heating assistance fund, or alternately sponsor someone who does.
- Ask your Faith Based Organization to become a Member of Faith Community Housing Foundation
We are always looking for new organizations that will join with us and make an initial financial commitment of $5,000 to $50,000 (depending on the size and resources of the community), and a commitment to provide a board member and long-term support.
