- To provide, in the next five years, 200 homes, for 30 – 50% of AMI family households.
- To convert vacant lots and abandoned, boarded-up homes with new 3-bedroom homes, thus enhancing the positive impact on the neighborhoods where we build
and rent.
- To attain funding through local, state and national grants, low-cost financing and local donations of property in order to reduce the costs of acquisitions and pass on reduced rents to our tenants.
- To generate continued revenue to support our tenants with monthly utilities who are at 30% average median income.
- To educate the faith community and the public about the lack of affordable housing for low income families through utilization of local media.
- To encourage the local government to be more proactive in the condemnation of vacant housing so property will be available for renovation or building.
- To creatively explore other ways to develop affordable housing.
- To expand our resident service program with Enterprise Foundation as a partner.
- To expand our role in the Kentucky Recovery Program.
- To support the Aspendale Hope VI project.
